MC4-Y adapter to connect 2 modules or module strings in parallel. Attention: MC4 is specified up to max. 30A, i.e. the total current with parallel connection must not exceed this value. To do this, calculate the sum of the currents in the Maximum Power Point - sometimes the data sheet also states "Nomianal current". On top of that, please calculate a buffer of at least 10% so that in the winter there is more power thanks to temperatures below the test conditions at which the power of the modules is specified.
